The College of Saint Thomas More is pleased to promote an initiative directed by Dr. Dean Cassella, the Texas Institute of Classical Studies (TICS). The Institute is committed to the promotion and dissemination of the classical liberal arts in North Texas. Its primary focus is teaching Latin and Greek via a “living language” conversational approach to learning. The Institute also provides instruction in the humanities with courses on the literature and cultural history of Western civilization.
